How to Use a Camera Baseplate with a Tripod or Monopod

Camera baseplates are used in filmmaking and video production to enhance the functionality and versatility of the camera. The whole configuration provides you with many features and the opportunity for further development.

Obtaining the 85mm optical center with the Riser Basic and 15mm Baseplate is possible in two ways - with or without the cage.

Compatible cameras when used without the 8Sinn cage:
The presented Riser Plate combined with the 8Sinn Base Plate allows obtaining the optical center when used with the following cameras:
- Blackmagic URSA Mini
- Canon EOS C100
- Sony FX-9

Compatible cameras when used with 8Sinn cage:
