8Sinn 15mm Baseplate
The presented baseplate is the core for creating a fully functional filmmaking rig. The top section of the Baseplate includes an opening for the Riser Plate I, Riser Plate Basic or Riser Plate II. Combining the 15mm baseplate core with a proper riser plate allows for obtaining the correct lens height for cameras. Check the "related products" section at the bottom of this page to know more about the compatibility of each riser plate. The 15mm LWS rod clamp section is compatible with any 15mm rod (stainless, carbon, aluminum). Each rod has its own tightening screw on the side. The second tightening screw on the right side serves to fix the base plate in place on the Arri Dovetail Plate. Arri Rosettes on both sides allow you to add side arms and transform your set-up into a shoulder rig.
